Join us for Hot Breakfast and Hot Topics to talk about advocacy in action! While you enjoy your breakfast and meet other advocates, hear from IDSA/HIVMA members about their experiences participating in advocacy and the importance of educating members of Congress about ID and HIV legislative policy priorities. Speakers will share current efforts to advance policies on priorities including the ID and HIV clinical workforce, ID compensation, antimicrobial resistance, HIV/AIDS, public health emergency preparedness, and other ID issues. You’ll also learn how to engage with IDSA/HIVMA advocacy and become more involved in the Member Advocate Program (MAP). Breakfast at 7:30 am, session start time at 8:00 am. You may RSVP for this event here. https://idsociety.quorum.us/sign_up/7142/
