Javeed Siddiqui M.D., M.P.H. is Co-founder and Medical Director for TeleMed2U based in Sacramento, California. Dr. Siddiqui attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Dr. Siddiqui completed his residency program at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California, and received his postgraduate training in Infectious Disease at the University of California, Davis Medical Center. Dr. Siddiqui is board certified in the areas of Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine. Dr. Siddiqui is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America and a member of the American Telemedicine Association.
Dr. Javeed Siddiqui is an adult infectious disease physician and a pioneer in the field of technology enabled healthcare services delivery, digital health and has been actively practicing in telemedicine based infectious diseases since 2002.
Dr. Siddiqui’s clinical interests are bacterial resistance, HIV/AIDS medicine, hepatitis B and C, antimicrobial stewardship, and rapid diagnostics.
As a long-term proponent and practitioner of antimicrobial stewardship, Dr siddiqui has been passionate about the real time utilization of technology to further the delivery of Infectious Diseases and the utilization of technologies to assist and both syndrome at surveillance and pathogen identification.
Since 2015, Dr. Siddiqui has advocated for the use of multiplex PCR in the hospitals which he practices at and has championed the application of BioFire technologies on a routine and daily basis.
Dr. Siddiqui is extensively published in the field of infectious diseases, digital health and had served on a number of national committees for the Infectious Diseases Society of America and its Foundation.
