Sarah McLeod is a Senior Director of Clinical Microbiology at Innoviva Specialty Therapeutics Inc., an affiliate of Entasis Therapeutics, a small biotech outside of Boston dedicated to the discovery and development of novel antibacterial agents to treat serious infections caused by drug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria. Sarah has 15 years of experience in antimicrobial drug discovery, development and research, first at AstraZeneca and then at Entasis and Innoviva Specialty Therapeutics. Sarah obtained a BA in Biochemistry from Wellesley College, a PhD in Biological Chemistry from University of California, Los Angeles and conducted her postdoctoral training at Tufts University and Harvard Univeristy.
