Eric G. Meissner, MD, PhD

Dr. Meissner is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is Director of HIV and Hepatitis Patient Care and Research within the ID Division and serves clinically in outpatient and inpatient settings. He is the principal investigator for multiple clinical trials and his laboratory conducts basic research focused on interferon lambda signaling and hepatitis B virus.
