Xinyi Du, MPH, is a young graduate with a Master of Public Health degree from Boston University, with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
During Xinyi’s academic pursuits, Xinyi focused on how to employ statistical tools to look at issues and topics related to infectious diseases as well as chronic diseases. Xinyi was also trained in research methods, data management and analysis, as well as statistical methods in clinical trials.
Upon graduation, Xinyi joined Pranay Sinha’s research team at Boston Medical Center as a research assistant. The team focuses on undernutrition and tuberculosis. Xinyi utilizes her biostatistical skills to manage and analyze data across multiple studies, facilitating research progress as well as discussions among the teams.
