My name is Jahanavi M. Ramakrishna, MD and I am currently a PGY-3 Internal Medicine resident training at Wayne State University. I obtained my medical degree from Sri Ramachandra University in Chennai, India, after which I completed a research fellowship with the Division of Infectious Diseases, Mayo Clinic Florida. In addition to leading several hospital-based QI projects, I am actively involved with Wayne State's Mobile Health Unit in bringing preventative healthcare efforts to street medicine. I graduated from Wayne State's two-year Global and Urban Health Fellowship earlier this year and am now a certified Global Health Practitioner. My areas of interest include the intersection between infectious diseases and addiction medicine, urban health, predictive analytics, diagnostic stewardship, and hospital epidemiology.
I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
