Dr. Neilan is a medicine and pediatrics-trained adult infectious disease physician and an Assistant Professor in both Pediatrics and Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She uses simulation modeling, decision science and cost-effectiveness to research improved care strategies for adolescents with HIV and at risk of HIV. She co-directs the Adolescence and HIV Scientific Working Group (ASWG) of the Harvard University Center for AIDS Research. She serves on the Committee on Pediatric and Adolescent HIV of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the US Health and Human Services Pediatric ARV Panel, and the National Institutes of Health Office of AIDS Research Advisory Council (OARAC).
