Dr. Katie Weinert is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She went to college at Hamilton College, where she studied Chemistry and Mathematics. She earned her medical degree from Florida Atlantic University and completed her residency training at University of Cincinnati. She completed her training with fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in infectious disease. Dr. Weinert has a special interest in antibiotic stewardship. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and running.
