Megan Rose Curtis, MD, MS is a dedicated physician, researcher, and educator with a focus on infectious diseases and women's reproductive health. Dr. Curtis’ research interests have spanned topics from HIV and obstetric hemorrhage in sub-Saharan Africa to behavioral risk factors for STIs among women who inject drugs in the US. Her current research is focused on using simulation modeling to study the clinical impacts and cost-effectiveness of interventions along the maternal and pediatric cascade of perinatal hepatitis C care. Dr. Curtis’ work is supported by a NIH T32 Research Training Grant through the Medical Practices and Evaluation Center at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Curtis received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. She completed internal residency at the University of Washington and fellowship training in infectious diseases at the Harvard combined Massachusetts General Brigham training program. Dr. Curtis’ training has taken her across the globe, and her research is informed by the diverse patient populations she has been privileged to care for along the way.
