Dr. Margaret "Maggie" Taylor is an assistant professor of pediatric infectious diseases at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, TX. She has a particular interest in antimicrobial stewardship, quality improvement, and penicillin allergy de-labeling. She is the assistant director of antimicrobial stewardship at Texas Children's Hospital and leads the outpatient antimicrobial stewardship initiative for the Texas Children's Pediatrics primary care clinics. In 2022, she helped establish a collaborative penicillin allergy clinic at Texas Children's Hospital that utilizes telemedicine to risk stratify children labeled as penicillin allergic and provide access to formal allergy evaluations.
