Dr. Sylvia LaCourse MD, MPH is an Infectious Disease physician and Associate Professor in the Departments of Medicine, Global Health, and Epidemiology (adjunct), Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Her research focusses on improved case detection of tuberculosis and prevention strategies in pregnant people and children in high HIV burden settings. Current research activities also include studies on SARS-CoV-2 antibody response in pregnant people, their infants, and household contacts in the setting of antural infection and vaccination.
