Amanda Beaudoin, DVM, PhD, DACVPM led the Minnesota One Health Antibiotic Stewardship Collaborative during 2016 through April 2023. The collaborative is a multidisciplinary group of clinical, government, and industry professionals working together to improve stewardship in all sectors. She also supported Minnesota Department of Health antimicrobial resistance and stewardship initiatives in healthcare settings. As adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Beaudoin works with colleagues to conduct research and education on antimicrobial resistance and stewardship in companion animal (dog and cat) practice. Presently, Dr. Beaudoin is an epidemiologist in the CDC Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion International Infection Control Program. Her attendance and presentation content is developed and delivered in her personal capacity and not as a CDC employee.
