Susan J. Rehm is a career coach who consults for the Cleveland Clinic. Until June, 2023 she was Cleveland Clinic's associate chief of staff, executive director for physician health and vice chair of the department of infectious disease. Dr Rehm received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Nebraska and completed internal medicine and infectious disease training at Cleveland Clinic. She earned a certificate in executive coaching from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management, and is certified by the International Coaching Federation and the Center for Credentialing and Education. A fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the American College of Physicians, she served on the IDSA Board of Directors from 2017 through 2020.
Dr. Rehm is Professor Emerita of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and a charter member of the College’s Medical Student Promotions and Review Committee. She served as Program Director for Cleveland Clinic’s Infectious Disease Fellowship and its Internal Medicine Residency Program. As a member of the core faculty for the Cleveland Clinic's Center for Excellence in Coaching and Mentoring, Dr. Rehm continues to participate in coaching and educating peer coaches.
