Ingrid Vasiliu-Feltes, MD EMBA

Dr. Vasiliu-Feltes is a highly accomplished healthcare executive and academician with over 20 years of experience in a variety of leadership roles, including CEO, President, VP, Chief Quality and Safety Officer, Chief Innovation Officer, Chief of Compliance, Executive Director Center for Research Quality and Safety, Director Clinicial Trials, Director Managed Care.
Dr. Vasiliu-Feltes is an alumna of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she completed her medical post-graduate training and of the University of Miami, where she earned her Executive MBA in Healthcare Policy and Management. Her executive certifications from leading institutions such as Stanford, Harvard, MIT, Columbia Universities, in addition to her affiliation with the University of Miami’s Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy, attest to her exceptional knowledge and expertise in the field. She holds an Ethics certification by the National Institutes of Health, Bioethics certification from Harvard University, a certification in Tech Diplomacy by the Diplo Foundation, and was designated a certified Human Rights consultant by the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights.
Her academic tenure at the University of Miami includes her faculty roles at Miller School of Medicine ( 2008-2016) and at the Herbert Business School ( 2020-Present), where she teaches Business Technology in the Executive MBA in Healthcare Program. She also serves as an Affiliate Faculty at the Miller School of Medicine’s Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy.
Her academic and research portfolio are complemented by her active membership in numerous prestigious professional associations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives (Fellow),, American Medical Association, Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society, American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, the International Board Federation of Safety Managers, the National Association of Healthcare Quality, the American Society for Quality,, IEEE, Tech Diplomacy Network, among many others.
Dr. Vasiliu-Feltes has extensive experience in several heavily regulated industries, advising board rooms and C-suites, as well as various EU and UN-affiliated groups on corporate and digital ethics. She is an advisory Partner at Virtue Consultants, an international ethics consultancy firm and an Executive Partner at Globalreach BI, a pharmaceutical industry consultancy firm, serving as an expert advisor on digital identity and digital ethics for the European Union’s Blockchain Observatory and Forum. She is a sought-after keynote speaker on the topic of ethics in the digital age at various international conferences and events.
She has received numerous lifetime recognitions and more than 30 awards, most notably the WBAF World Excellence Award for Social Entrepreneurship, the Award of Excellence in Research by Columbia University in New York City ( NeuroImaging- Functional MRI Research), and was named Teacher of The Year twice by the University of Miami, FL. She has authored or co-authored books, book chapters, guest-edited several scientific journals and lends her editorial expertise to Partners in Digital Health, IGI Global and Frontiers Media.
