Dr. Jacob Travis Colver, D.O, a PGY-3 internal medicine resident at San Antionio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (Brooke Army Medical Center), was born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany before his military family eventually settled down in Kansas City, MO. He received a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences while attending Kansas State University on a 4-year federal Army ROTC scholarship. Afterward, he served as an Army Quartermaster Officer for 2 years until he matriculated into medical school at A.T. Still University - Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He graduated with is D.O. in 2021 and is now serving as an Army Medical Corp Officer while completing his internal medicine rescidency in San Antonio, TX. After rescidency, he will be remaining at SAUCHEC as one of the Chiefs of Residents for the internal medicine residency but is planning to apply for an infectious disease fellowship position the following academic year.
