Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer

Anna Bratcher is an Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Officer with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She is placed within the Office of Public Health Data, Surveillance, and Technology. She works on Covid-19 serology studies, data modernization, and health equity research. Anna has nine years of experience in public health, including Ebola research, HIV studies, and program evaluation. She earned her PhD in Epidemiology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Masters of Science in Public Health (MSPH) at Emory University, and her Bachelors of Science in Microbiology at the University of Georgia. Anna is passionate about using rigorous epidemiology methods to improve health for all persons and modernizing data systems.
