Natalia Betancourt is a Clinical Scientist at Invivyd, Inc where she contributes to monoclonal antibody (mAb) clinical trials for infectious diseases. Natalia received a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in biomedical laboratory management from Hunter College. Before moving to the biotechnology industry to work on monoclonal antibody discovery, Natalia worked on the identification of new antibiotic targets and mechanisms of Mycobacterium tuberculosis at Weill Cornell University. With an interest on delivering antibody-based therapies that protect people from viral diseases and making a difference in patients’ lives, she transitioned into infectious diseases clinical research where she has supported multiple clinical trials for the past 3 years.
