Ms. LeeAnne C. Lynch, MPH is a doctoral candidate working in the Infectious Disease Clinical Research Program (IDCRP) in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Biostatistics at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She previously worked as the respiratory infections focus area epidemiologist/portfolio manager at the Global Emerging Infections Surveillance (GEIS) branch of the Armed Forces Health Surveillance Division. Prior to that LeeAnne worked as an epidemiologist in the Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) section at the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. There she focused on facilitating the start of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Collaborative of South Carolina, the Infection Control Assessment and Response program, and other HAI surveillance and outbreak response efforts. LeeAnne earned her master’s of public health from the George Washington University. She is a member of the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists. LeeAnne is also an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve.
