PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Resident

Valerie is currently the Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at St. Lukes Health in the Woodlands, Texas. She completed her PGY2 ID pharmacy residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston campus and her PGY1 at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center in Houston. She is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada and graduated from Roseman University of Health Sciences. Valerie plans to pursue board certification in Infectious Diseases and would like to explore opportunities for teaching and precepting in her current role. She plans to have involvmenet in national Infectious Diseases chapters. Her areas of interest within ID include antimicrobial resistance, microbiology, and oral antibiotics for severe infections.
