Dr. Bobbi Jo Stoner has over a decade of professional experience within clinical pharmacy and infectious diseases. She completed her pharmacy school education at Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences after which she pursued a PGY1 pharmacotherapy residency at ECU Health (formally Vidant Health) in North Carolina. She worked at an infectious diseases clinical pharmacist at UNC Medical Center for over 5 years prior to moving to Lexington, Kentucky. In Lexington, she became the infective endocarditis clinical pharmacist for UK Healthcare for 4 years, working with a multidisciplinary team and in conjunction with the outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT) program. Currently, she continues to work remotely for UKHealthcare with the antimicrobial stewardship team as well as Cone Health in Greensboro, North Carolina. She is an active member of the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists (NCAP) as well as the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP). Her professional interests include population health, infective endocarditis, and opportunistic infections.
