Makoto Inada, MD is an ID fellow at the University of Tokyo Hospital, and he is a Board Certified Member of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, and a Board Certified Doctor of the Japanese Association for Infectious Diseases.
He was born in Kanagawa, Japan and he obtained his medical degree at Shimane University. His residency was at Mito General Hospital, Ibaraki, and also trained in internal medicine at Okinawa Prefecture Nanbu Medical Center. After the residency, he worked at Okinawa Prefecture Miyako Hospital, located on an isolated island. He practiced infectious diseases at National Center for Global Health and Medicine, Tokyo.
His clinical interests are clinical microbiology as well as tropical diseases, and opportunistic infections among solid organ transplant recipients.
