Kaytlynn Marceaux-Galli, MPH is an Epidemiologist for the Maryland Department of Health in the Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Outbreak Response Bureau (IDEORB) within the Healthcare Associated Infections Community (HAIC). She Received her Master's in Public Health from the George Washington University (2020) and her undergraduate degree in both Biology & Spanish from the University of Kansas (2015). She has more than 8 years of experience working in coordination with CDC in Active Bacterial Core Surveillance (ABCs) and HAIC programs. Her background work has been on various projects between tracking COVID-19 and monitoring vaccine effectiveness among healthcare workers, working on medical chart reviews for both MUGSI and C.difficile, and most recently work in the Healthcare Point Prevelance Survey. For ID week she will be presenting her most recent work on CDI surveillance and the impact of COVID-19 on case counts.
