Rebecca Choudhury, MD, is an adult Infectious Diseases physician and the medical director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infection Prevention programs at Mount Sinai Queens Hospital in Astoria, New York. She is an assistant professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she enjoys providing education on infectious disease, infection prevention, and stewardship concepts to trainess randing from medical students to infectious disease fellows. In her role at Mount Sinai Queens, she also serves as a member of the Sepsis Steering Committe, working to promote effective antimicrobial use in the treatment of sepsis. Her other interests include blood culture diagnostic stewarship and hospital-acquired infections, particularly devide-associated infections.
