Darcy Wooten is a Professor of Medicine in the division of Infectious Diseases at Washington University in St. Louis. She did her undergraduate studies in Human Virology at Stanford University before completing medical school and Internal Medicine residency training at UCSF. She also earned a Master of Science degree from UC Berkeley. She completed her ID fellowship at Harbor UCLA before joining the faculty at UCSD in 2014. At UCSD, she served as the ID Fellowship Program Director and in several other medical education leadership roles across UME and GME. She is now the ID Fellowship Program Director at Washington University as well as the Vice Chief of Education for the division. Her clinical areas of expertise include HIV primary care and antiretroviral therapy.
