Neha Balachandran is an Epidemiologist with Cherokee Nation Integrated Health, a contracting agency to the Division of Viral Diseases, National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention, Atlanta, GA. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from India, following which she pursued MPH, with a concentration in Epidemiology from Emory Rollins School of Public Health, Atlanta, GA. Her research focuses on epidemiology of acute gastroenteritis, especially caused by norovirus, and she has expertise in coordinating surveillance studies, maintaining large databases, and conducting analyses.
