PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Resident

Dr. Andrew Purdy, PharmD is a recently graduated PGY2 Infectious Diseases Resident from Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is currently the Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He completed PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Indiana University Health Academic Health Center in 2022, and then completed Infectious Diseases PGY2 training in 2023. It was during PGY2 residency that his current clinical outcomes study comparing cefepime and meropenem in susceptible dose dependent AmpC organisms was completed.
