Dr. Sue is an Assistant Professor in the division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he serves as Medical Director of the Pediatric Transplant and Immunocompromised Host Infectious Disease service. He is a graduate of the McGill University Faculty of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at Jacobi Medical Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he also served as chief resident. He completed his fellowship training in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins University, where he examined the emergence of Hepatitis E Virus infection among Solid Organ Transplant recipients, and developed his clinical interest in the management of infections among Immunocompromised hosts. His current research interests include the impact of invasive fungal and viral infections in the immunocompromised host, as well as the role of novel therapies and diagnostics to improve infectious disease outcomes in high risk immunocompromised individuals. Dr.Sue has been recognized as a Best Doctor in Dallas by D Magazine since 2016, and is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America, Pediatrics Infectious Disease Society and American Society of Transplantation.
