Infectious diseases Resident
San Raffaele University Hospital, Italy
I graduated from from Medical School in Udine (Italy) in 2019. While at University I participated in the Erasmus Program in Muenster (Germany) for a duration of one year. During my University years I developed a strong interest for infectious diseases, mostly for bacterial infections, and wrote a dissertation about the use of high-dose daptomycin in enterococcal endocarditis. Later, I've later started my residency at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan (Italy) in 2021, where I was able to deepen my knowledge about antibiotics and bacterial infections, mostly the device related ones and do some clinical research about those. In the future I'm looking forward to gaining more knowledge about antibiotics' pharmacology and antimicrobial stewardship. After my residency my goal would be to work as an infectious diseases consultant.
