Dr. Nelson is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Infectious Diseases at Stanford University. She graduated from Rutgers Medical School, and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Brown University. She went on to Infectious Disease Fellowship at Stanford. She specializes in the treatment of immunocompromised patients, and her clinical interests and expertise include infections in lung transplant recipients as well as Nontuberculous mycobacteria.
