Presentation Title: Delay in TB care before and during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Dushanbe, Tajikistan, 2022
Radzhabali Sharifov is a doctor-epidemiologist with the Department of Disinfection and Sterilization Activities Monitoring the Dushanbe city disinfection center of the Dushanbe City Health Department. Mr. Radzhabali received a specialist in Public Health in 2019 from Avicenna Tajik State Medical University. In 2022, he entered into the Central Asia Advanced Field Epidemiology Training Program in Almaty, Kazakhstan, as part of this program he is also studying for a Master's degree from Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University .
From 2020 to 2021, Mr. Radzhabali was Head of the Department of Disinfection and Sterilization Activities Monitoring. He was responsible for outbreak investigations of infectious diseases and control of infectious diseases at the Infection Control Center of the Dushanbe city disinfection center. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he actively participated in anti-epidemic measures held in Dushanbe. He conducted a training seminar for healthcare workers, including workers performing disinfection activities in crowded places (airports, hypermarkets, etc.), on COVID-19 infection control and mitigation strategies.
