Ms. McGregor is a licensed board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner and faculty member with the Division of Infectious Diseases in the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She holds a graduate degree in Nursing, specializing in primary care and HIV/AIDS with post-graduate training in Tropical Medicine. She has provided HIV primary and specialty care for the past 22 years, has been awarded several HIV research grants and has co-authored multiple articles and abstracts. She has served as an HIV/AIDS consultant/lecturer for various U.S. and international groups, including the Centers for Disease Control Global Aids Program and the U.S. PEPFAR program, and has experience in HIV education and health resource capacity building in developing countries such as Nigeria, Tanzania, Cambodia, and Haiti. Currently, she is involved in the development and implementation of HIV Prevention programming and research in Denver and underserved communities in Colorado, including the development of a telemedicine HIV PrEP program based at the University of Colorado to improve access to PrEP for at-risk urban, rural, Native American, Hispanic, and immigrant populations.
