My name is Samiha Mohsen and I am a third year medical student at the University of Toronto. I was born Egypt and moved to the United States in 2015 to complete a Bachelors degree in Biology Pre-Medicine. Upon graduation, I interned at the Mayo Clinic, Phoenix specializing in research focusing on stem cells in the head and neck regenerative medicine laboratory. I then moved to Calgary, Canada to pursue a Masters in Epidemiology and upon completition started medical school at the University of Toronto. I continue to conduct research in the relm of Critical Care Medicine. When I am not in the lab, I find myself at the swimming pool as a part of the University of Toronto swim varsity team and Egyptian National Team.
