Ellora graduated from Stanford University in 2008 and completed her medical school training at UCLA and her masters in global health sciences at UCSF by 2014. She then pursued residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Chicago. She served as a CDC Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer from 2018-2020 and at the California Department of Public Health during the COVID pandemic. She is currently an infectious diseases fellow at the University of Washington.
