Dr. Yasmin maor is serves as the head of the Infectious Disease Unit, at Wolfson Medical Center, Holon, Israel affiliated to Tel Aviv university in Israel. She is married with three children. Dr. Maor completed her medicine studies 1992-1985 at Tel Aviv University and received her MD License IN 1992. She received her specialty in Internal Medicine in 1997 and in Infectious Diseases in 2007. She then worked as a senior physician at the Sheba Medical Center and in 2014 she became the head of the Infectious Disease Unit, at Wolfson Medical Center. She also serves as an advisor to the ministry of health regarding infectious diseases, immunization, and epidemic preparedness.
She is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine in Tel Aviv University. Her main research areas are SARS-COV-2, resistant pathogens, nosocomial Infections, and Group B Streptococcus. She has published numerous articles in leading scientific journals.
