Scott Bergman is the Antimicrobial Stewardship Coordinator at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He is also a Clinical Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Pharmacy. Currently he is President for the Society of Infectious Diseases.
Dr. Bergman received his Doctor of Pharmacy from South Dakota State University College of Pharmacy and completed specialty training at West Virginia University Hospitals. His passion is in studying and promoting the appropriate use of antimicrobials. He is also very involved in supporting antimicrobial stewardship across his state through a grant from CDC and contract with the Nebraska Department of Health and Services.
