Kelly Flett, MD MMSc is currently a pediatrician at Eastover Pediatrics in Charlotte NC and the medical director of the Ambulatory Antimicrobial Stewardship Program for Novant Health. She did her undergraduate degree at Villanova University, her medical degree at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey, her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Colorado and a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Boston Children's Hospital. During her fellowship she completed a Masters in Medical Science from Harvard University. She lead the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at Boston Children's for four years until transitioning to general pediatrics and her current position with Novant Health. Her clinical and research interests include the treatment of common infections in pediatrics, antibiotic resistance, and the efficacy of antimicrobial stewardship strategies in the ambulatory setting.
