Yaokai Chen, Ph.D., professor, a visiting scholar from Yale University Medical College, and now works as the director of the Department of infectious disease of Chongqing Public Health Medical Center. He specializes in the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases in China, with a primary focus on the clinical management of HIV infection, opportunistic infections, and comorbidities among individuals living with HIV. With over two decades of experience, he has conducted extensive clinical trial research in hospital-based settings across China. His research employs various methodologies, including survey research, experimental designs, randomized trials, and meta-analysis, all centered around topics related to HBV, HIV, and associated co-morbidities in China.
Dr. Chen's substantial contributions are reflected in his prolific publication record, comprising more than 150 scholarly papers.
