The IDSA Sepsis Task Force is a multi-professional society that brings together leaders in infectious disease, healthcare epidemiology, hospital medicine, and emergency medicine to advance sepsis care and outcomes. This session will provide an update on the work the Task Force is performing to engage with CMS, CDC, the Surviving Sepsis Campaign, and other groups to improve sepsis recognition, care, and quality measures. The Task Force seeks to bring to these groups ID professionals' insights into the challenges clinicians face with diagnosing and managing sepsis in complex patients and environments. Following brief presentations by Task Force members there will be an opportunity for attendees to provide feedback and suggestions on future goals and collaborations.
