Dr. Janes is a Professor in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Washington. She is co-PI of the Statistical and Data Management Center for the HIV Vaccine Trials Network and plays a leadership role in the COVID Prevention Network. She has 14 years of experience designing and analyzing clinical trials of candidate vaccines, with a focus on phase 2b/3 efficacy trials
