I am a third year Infectious Diseases Fellow at Duke University. My research is focused on understanding the host and pathogen factors contributing to persistence and infection recurrence. I am particularly interested in the role of antibiotic tolerance and persister cells in antibiotic treatment failure during Gram-negative and staphylococcal bloodstream infections.
