Internal Medicine Resident
Brigham and Women's Hospital
Boston, MA, United States
Ben Rabin, MD MPH, is a first-year internal medicine resident at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his undergraduate medical training at Emory University School of Medicine, as well as a Masters in Public Health at Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health. Ben's focus during his MPH was climate change and health epidemiology. His thesis, under the mentorship of Noah Scovronick, investigated the association of acute kidney injury with ambient heat exposure. Ben also helped create a longitudinal climate change and health curriculum for undergraduate medical students at Emory's School of Medicine that was first implemented in 2020. Emory was recognized by the Planetary Health Report Card as a leader in climate and health education in part as a result of the curriculum's early success. Ben is eager to continue advancing climate change and health initiatives during his residency at Brigham & Women's.
