Samie Rizvi is a medical student from the John Sealy School of Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and completed his undergraduate studies in Molecular Biology from the University of Toronto. He worked at the Houston Methodist Hosptial in the Miller Lab where he studied mechanisms of antimicrbrial resistance in E. feacalis and P. aeruginosa.
