Lauren Biehle, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP is the Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacy Lead at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Her role focuses on improving antibiotic use across the spectrum of healthcare in Colorado. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. She then completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital followed by a PGY-2 specialty residency in Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy/Cardinal Health/MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her scholarship interests include antimicrobial stewardship, diagnostic stewardship, and their intersection with antimicrobial resistance.
