Edward Kong is a 6th-year MD-PhD student in the Harvard Department of Economics and Harvard Medical School. His dissertation research focuses on modeling interactions between antibiotic resistance, antibiotic stewardship, and drug innovation. His other work has focused on prescription drugs, hospital price transparency, health insurance markets, and the labor-market impacts of COVID-19 policies. Prior to starting his MD-PhD, he obtained a Bachelor of Science from Yale where he double-majored in Economics and Biomedical Engineering.
