Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellow
Baylor College of Medicine
Houson, TX, United States
I am currently a third year pediatric infectious diseases fellow at Baylor College of Medicine-Texas Childrens Hospital. After graduating medical school (Midwestern University), I completed my pediatric training at Phoenix Children's Pediatric Residency Program, where I also served for one year as chief resident. I am board certified in Pediatrics.
My current interests are infection control, antimicrobial stewardship, and I see my future career as a clinician-educator with responsibilities in infection control and prevention as well as antibiotic stewardship. I can communicate with patients in English, Spanish, and Dari/Farsi. My goal is to serve as a supportive mentor in pediatric infectious diseases, particularly for physicians-in-training who identify as minority background.
I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
