Dr. Jennifer DeCuir is a medical officer in the US Public Health Service assigned to the Coronavirus and Other Respiratory Viruses Division at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she supports the IVY Surveillance Network. Her current research is focused on COVID-19 and RSV epidemiology and vaccine effectiveness. She joined CDC in 2020 as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer in the Division of Global HIV and TB, and subsequently deployed to the CDC COVID-19 Response, serving on the Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome Unit and the Vaccine Task Force. Before joining CDC, Dr. DeCuir completed an MD and a PhD in epidemiology at Columbia University, followed by an internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
