Dr. Aima Ahonkhai’s is an infectious diseases physician scientist and an Associate Physician in Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her research focuses on the convergence of epidemiologic, intervention, and implementation research to understand drivers of disparate HIV care outcomes and to develop equity-focused solutions to improve HIV care outcomes in marginalized and minorities populations. Her work has focused primarily on adolescents and young adults in communities in Africa and the Southern United States.
