Dr. de St. Maurice is the Unit Director Unit Director of the Syndromic Surveillance and Community Outbreak Team at LACDPH. Annabelle is also an Associate Professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at UCLA where she attends on the inpatient Peds ID service. Prior to joining LACDPH, Annabelle was the director of Pediatric Infection Control and the Co-Chief Infection Prevention Officer for UCLA Health. She obtained her medical degree at the University of Rochester and completed her Pediatrics residency at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. After residency, Dr. de St. Maurice went to Vanderbilt University where she completed a pediatric infectious disease fellowship and earned a Masters in Public Health. After fellowship, she joined the Epidemic Intelligence Service at the CDC where she studied the epidemiology of viral hemorrhagic fevers. She is interested in mitigating the spread and severity of infectious diseases through vaccines and infection control practices in healthcare and community settings.
