Nick is an infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. Nick graduated from the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy in 2015 and completed a PGY1 residency and infectious diseases outcomes research fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital/Wayne State University, and a PGY2 in infectious diseases at Maine Medical Center. In respect to his topic/presentation of Oral Antibiotics at Hospital Discharge, this was Nick's primary work/research during fellowship where he helped collaborate with multiple disciplines across hospitals within Henry Ford Health System and the CDC to implement a protocol to facilitate early pharmacist review and outpatient prescription entry of antibiotics at discharge. His clinical interests include safety of antimicrobials, pharmacokinetics, transitions of care, and multidrug resistance. Nick also enjoys teaching, cooking, winter sports/activities, and exploring Maine with his family.
