Jason Newland, MD MEd FPIDS is a Professor of Pediatrics at Washington University in St. Louis and the Schnuck Family Endowed Chair in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. His current research spotlights the use of antimicrobials and the impact of an antimicrobial stewardship program at a children’s hospital. He is a co-founder of the Sharing Antimicrobial Reports for Pediatric Stewardship (SHARPS) Collaborative for improving antimicrobial use in children that is comprised of over 70 Children’s Hospitals in the United States.
